Hi I’m new, hope you can help me .. from chanel website this bag is labelled ‘ grosgrain and satin ‘ , may I know what’s the meaning of grosgrain? Have you seen the bag? It’s half satin?
Hi Kelly,
Grosgrain is fabric with ribbed appearance but with little luster. The look is a bit dull but its a very strong material. You can see it as heavy stiff ribbon of silk/nylon.
This bag is part grosgrain and part satin yes. Does this help?
